1 of 6 EXCUSES, SURELY YOU HAVE GIVEN! (Part 2)
2nd “What shall I say to people?” (Exodus 3:13)
‘What should I talk about? How to persuade or convince people that the Lord exists? What appeared to me? What will set them free from slavery? ‘… this was the dilemma of Moses and many. And this excuse comes from the first, because when a person does not believe in himself, he soon worries about what to say to others, wanting to convince, persuading others about their faith, decision, choice…
However, when we are in the sacrificial faith, we do not care to convince anyone or what we will tell others, for what we will say is simply what God has spoken to us, such as us bishops and pastors, that we pass to the people what is written. Who believes very well and who does not believe is because it has not been revealed and it is not up to us to convince anyone!
The Lord Jesus Himself warned us not to worry about what we would say, for it is the Holy Spirit who puts words in our mouths to say what must be said according to His will. Our part is to preach, to prophesy, and God’s part is to Choose, Call, and Reveal to each one individually, just as He did with us.
“For it is not ye that speak, but the Spirit of your Father which speaketh in you.” (Matthew 10:20)
Instead of worrying about being listened to by others, we should worry about listening to the Voice of God.
Is that you? Are you worried about what you are going to say to others?
