1 of 6 EXCUSES, SURELY YOU HAVE GIVEN! (Part 4)
4th “I HAVE NOTHING!” (Exodus 4.2)
By claiming that he had nothing, Moses, even unknowingly, was despising his faith! He thought he had nothing, but he did, so much so that God asked him “what do you have in your hand?” … and what he had was the staff, the symbol of faith, which he used to shepherd the sheep. they didn’t even belong to him, since he used natural faith to do so. But God, through supernatural faith, would manifest Himself in His life so that He would shepherd His people.
When you give this excuse, that you have nothing, for example, you have no money, no titles, no goods, no diplomas, no family, no friends, no marriage … it is because you are despising the most. importantly, that is faith.
The Lord Jesus said “believe only … believe in God and believe in Me” (Mark 5:36), meaning you have something, which is the staff, your faith, so do not despise it, because it is through It is from her that the Lord Jesus will do greater wonders never before done in her life, for that is what He promised Moses to do and to do.
Is that you? Do you think you have and never had anything?
