The 2nd greatest power of the human being: DECISION
“If you do well, is it not certain that you will be accepted? And if you don’t do well, sin lies at the door, and it will be your desire, but you must rule over it. ” (Genesis 4.7)
See that the power of the decision to do right or wrong is given by God to each one. God does not compel anyone to follow Him or obey Him. Given the knowledge of His Will, it is up to us to choose.
Circumstances or feelings generally blind and create a climate of doubt, which generates fear, worry, anxiety and depression. God opens our eyes and gives us His direction, but it is up to us to decide whether to follow or ignore it.
“19 I call heaven and earth today as witnesses against you, that I have offered you life and death, blessing and curse; therefore choose life, that you and your descendants may live,
20 Loving the Lord your God, listening to His Voice, and drawing close to Him; for He is your life… ”(Deuteronomy 30.19-20)
Walking on the path of intelligent faith and, consequently, of dependence on God, leads to full and eternal life alongside the Lord Jesus.
So staying spiritually upright depends on the choices we make on a daily basis. This means that we are the result of every decision we make, no matter how small.
Whoever today refuses or postpones making the decision to give his life 100% to the Savior Jesus may not have another chance tomorrow.
